This is the most under-rated deal this season! Quality, value for the money. All tools brushless. They operate on both 18v, 36v batteries. With 36v battery, one can also use AC adapter, Lifetime warranty on tools (only), 2 year warranty batteries.
Deal even better with Lowe's $100/$10 x 2 gift cards, additional $5 if you open My Lowe's account.
Got one today.

Hitachi changed their name on these tools to Metabo. Good working tools

Note that the angle grinder and recip (which is a one-hander) are not brushless.

I own various Metabo and Hitachi tools. I have the 18V Drill and Impact driver. I think the cost/value ratio is the best for this brand. I have had very good luck with them over the years and I've loaned them to my Dewalt coworkers on occasion and they are impressed. I don't think they're on par w Festool but they hold up well against Milwaukee' and Dewalt and the pricing is much better. I sometimes shop Big Sky Tools online for refurbs with good outcomes.

They've had this set at this price for a while, off and on. I've been very tempted. Really good complete set. I had it loaded in my cart and my military discount applied at the time.

I had the same set but it was the HXP (battery is a post instead of a slide).

Great drills but the saws left a bit to be desired. BTW, the SDS Rotary Hammer is one of the best. IMO, Hitachi does drills better than anyone. My biggest stink with it was that Hitachi sold out to Metabo and they discontinued the battery HXP battery style with no notice, leaving me high and dry. Yes, Metabo sells the HXP batteries as a CRU but they are a bit pricey.

It kinda soured me on Metabo when it came time to replace the HXP batteries so I went with Milwaukee Fuels because I just dont see Milwaukee walking away from the trusty 18v platform anytime soon.

the 5 tool version has the 7 1/4 skill saw (instead of 6 1/2) and better recip saw in case it matters to anyone
