The network management features are pretty standard for enthusiast routers although light by business standards with channel management, and the ability to set the third radio as a separate SSID if you aren't using the wireless backhaul (multiple mesh).
The touchscreen interface, speakers, and visual are a very specific style but if you like it, you love it.
And the stability is significant. I have a heavily active smarthome and upgraded from Nest Wifi to this and my issues just disappeared.
TDLR; This is a gorgeous Wifi Router that can grow to a mesh setup with fun metrics and touchscreen interface, and is the top of the pile until Wifi 6E becomes realistic. Hope this helps someone!

Great processor
VPN
App setup
Cons:
No 2.5 Gbit Lan/wan ports.
Standard 3,000 sqft. coverage. (Costly mesh add-on for 6,000 sqft)
WiFi 6 not 6E.
Clients limited to 120 for non mesh setup
1st, you'd have to routers as opposed to the "dumb" mesh point. You could always separate the routers in the future and have 2 systems.
2nd, the routers have the touch display (not really a big deal if you set the 2nd router as an access point).
3rd, the mesh point does not have the 4 ethernet ports on the back.

All I know is I'm looking for something more solid next time around that'll handle heavier loads. I've got an Asus RT-AX92U mesh with two routers right now, but it's quite regularly flaky because I've got a buttload of smart home devices and am a heavy internet user.
That said, I can wait for the new tech to drop.
Do yall think 1 router placed directly in the center of my 1.5 story house cover the whole house?
I passed on last years UDM Pro BF sale hoping for some kind of performance upgrade to the UDM line in the near future, but nothing yet!
