I have been using this for 6 months now and I have charged 4 times already, if you use the features like auto lock, it lasts like a a couple of weeks. So I disabled that and other advance features and now it lasts a month and change. That alone is not good enough reason to buy. The quality doesn't feel good while installing, I had a schlage before and it was great, battery laster like a year and it used 4 AA batteries. This one has its own battery that need that old mini USB cable to charge.
If the lock is exposed to rain then it keeps thinking someone is trying to unlock and it keeps saying wrong code and finishes battery in few hours.
I really wanted this to be good as I also have eufy cameras but it is not
That's an older model with the WiFi bridge
Completely different model. That model requires bridge. This one does not

I just set this up and I love it. Telling Alexa to lock/unlock is awesome!

My current august lock uses bluetooth or wifi combined with gps to see if you are getting closer to your door. When its 100ft it unlocks the door. So I just have to turn the doorknob to get in.
100 ft from door and it unlocks? That does not sound ideal at all.

Hi description says "Unlock via Fingerprint, Keypad, Key, or Remotely with the Eufy Security App" … but I do not see a keyhole for opening with a key - can someone advise if physical key option is possible? If not, is it better to get a lock which has that option
Someone might have answered this already but on the front panel under the numpad there is a circle, that metal piece swings open to reveal a physical spot for a key. See the video below:

Costco has eufy Security by Anker Smart Lock Touch with WiFi on sale. Not as solid as the $220 bundle offer 10 days ago that came with a doorbell and hub, but that one was a lower end doorbell that was battery only and not wired as an option, and has 120 day battery life vs 180 day and so probably about even when considered. I wanted the latest wired 2k WiFi doorbell with this lock. This is great price as standalone and beats Amazon's deal of the day yesterday by $5!
Isn't the 2K wireless doorbell with the storage base usually around $160-200 and the wired lower end 2K doorbell which typically sells for less than $80-150? The wireless does not require existing doorbell and would be easier to install. The camera seems to be the same for the wireless 2k doorbell. Do you have any comparison sites or links that shows the wired doorbell camera being superior to the wireless one? Anyways, this smart lock is a good deal if that's all you wanted. I was looking more for wireless doorbell and the lock was a nice throw in. Also bought the Blink Doorbell so I can compare... Can't pass that up for $35.

Is the bridge a wifi repeater? or does it receive bluetooth and convert it to wifi?

Be warned this company has terrible customer service. Tried contacting them via email and through fb messenger about a camera that won't connect to my homebase(less than a year old) and no response even after a month. I will never buy any of their products again.

I have this lock for a few months, not the biggest fan.

Three annoying thing's about this lock I would point out.

1) locking is annoying and a pain, u need to hold down either the fingerprint scanner or the cancel button, and that takes a few seconds, I know it doesn't sound like a big deal, but when your in a rush it gets annoying.
2. When unlocking, u need to tap the screen a few times for it to wake up, the screen digits are not lit up all the time.
3. I personally prefer real buttons, just feels better then this type of touch screen, not a deal breaker but still something to consider.

All around, it's a pretty good and responsive lock, just a few points to consider.

Are these rechargeable batteries?
The battery pack has a USB micro port built in, like the ring batteries, and many other.

Thank you. You convinced me to pass. I'm frustrated with every new device wanting to use rechargeable batteries even where it doesn't make sense, often rendering the device unusable during a charging cycle. I'd rather have the option.

How many different fingerprints can you program into it? Household with 4 people that use the door…
I don't know the maximum, but I set up 4 users, each with PIN and multiple fingerprints.
