That looks like too much toe spring (the curve up towards the front). Not good for your feet. Toe spring is really needed on shoes when the length protrudes beyond where your toes fall. If you didn't have toe spring you would be tripping all the time. But it is bad design for foot comfort to have the length extend past where your toes fall. Puts all kids of bad pressure on internal ligaments extending out to the ankle.

I have these and served me well during my most recent trip to Maui! Definitely a good quality pair that was pretty comfortable for the price. Would snag a set again!

Are you a podiatrist? I have never heard of toe spring!
I have a pair of these. While your standard croc clogs are an abomination these look pretty good for basic flip flops, are built extra well, and are wildly comfortable. Would have bought a few extra pairs for this price if they had my size

Look up the benefits of barefoot footwear - or just waking barefoot, and how the shoes that we all wear are very badly designed for human feet.
depends upon how stiff they are - the front lifting like that is actually a benefit on flip flops - as it holds them to your feet better - less tripping, less gripping them with your toes to hold them to your feet - i'm not saying it's too much, because if it's not too stiff, they'd be fine. it's actually that type of material i dislike - but that's a personal preference.
