Isn't a small electric oven just a smaller version of a large electric oven? What is life? These questions aren't helpful here, just like your question.
The important part is getting the version of this that has the thermometer.

The pill to swallow is the deal at costco (also with thermometer) is a better pick. The Costco one is more cubic and the air flows around the food better for tasty browning. This one is elongated, the selling point is you can put a slightly bigger slab of ribs in it or cook 6 burgers at same time. Neither fit a full slab of ribs, and the browning of the costco version is more important.

This one is worth the money, but why stop there. The costco one is just as cheap and better.

Also, look at youtube videos of both models. The people really love these things. In the videos most who are estatic are useing the more cubic version (coscto version). The videos also show great ideas of what to make in these things, and you get to see how they come out too. There's one video that compares this model to the costco model. She liked the costco one. You can see in the video it browns better than this one.

Good luck

Just look at the color of the food in the videos. I think you were watching diff videos than I did. Did you see the one with the black woman comparing the regular version to the grill version? She criticized the grill version for lower color. The regular version had chicken and ribs with better color. These small fries reviewers don't have elaborate means to make the food look good. They just put it in the oven and pull it out. So look at the color on the food that comes out and how the food looks, and less about what they say to the camera. She was good though she was telling it straight up. Look for that one in particular.

Here. It's easier to just find the link. I believe this review, and also some of the others I've seen. Took the video straight to the point you can see the difference between ninjas.

Thanks. Yeah, she does good.

I have 40% off and $15 Kohls cash so I was going to get the XL for $117 after tax and all.

But after watching more videos I think I am going to skip it. Even the XL looks small for a family of 4. Getting 4 steaks on there looks difficult if not impossible, same with decent sized burgers. I think I would just use my outdoor grill whenever I wanted to grill something anyway.

This does look great for apartments or if you don't use/like an outdoor grill all year.

On almost all the reviews the probe didn't seem very accurate. It seemed that it was always undercooked and they had to run it longer. Not sure if the probe works as well as it should.

Guess I saved $117 by not being impulsive. Also realized we have an older George Foreman indoor grill we haven't used in years. I don't think this would ever get used. Just like the impulsive purchase of our Instapot.

Is $120 a lot to you?

Depends. Right now we have a furnace and A/C that is 34 years old and needs replacement, so that's the priority. But we still buy things we may not need. Regardless we could swing $120 this way and make it work. I don't just throw Benjamin's around, and I almost bought this. Just don't see that we would use this over our outdoor grills once I realized we haven't touched our other indoor grill for over 5 years. Had to talk my spouse into it as she was an adamant No when I showed her.

I tend to buy things sometimes just because they are a good deal, not because they are practical…for us….thanks Slickdeals.

Decided to get this and just picked it up. It's much smaller than I expected, especially for XL.

One question and it might be a defective unit, but the front touch panel seems pretty loose, as there is a bit of give when I touch it. It actually moves in and out when I touch it and makes a tapping sound. This doesn't seem normal.

Anyone else have this issue? Probably going to exchange it. Just a beating having to package it back up and take it back. I could live with it but it is extremely annoying and could cause future touch issues.
