I've had both. No comparison, the 4300/4100 is a beast. The Philips one is a toy.
The Sonicare 2 series that you linked is actually a lesser model. It has a Nickel Metal Hydride battery rather than lithium ion battery.

Anyone know how it compares to the Philips 2 pack at Costco? It's $49.99 with free shipping and has 4 replacement brush heads, this one has 2.

edit: you get 4 replacement brush heads at Costco vs 2 with the Sam's deal

Is any body's sales tax being calculated on the original $100 price rather than the $50 sale price?

completely different model at Costco - its the Philips One which is probably their lowest tier. It's powered by AAA battery and costs $15 at Walmart.

This 4300 model is more powerful (built in battery)

Thanks. I want to order for two people over 70+. I read it can be damaging to older gums. I'll have to do more research and figure out if manual is better for the elderly.

When I go to checkout with it, it's $99. They also add a $10 handling fee unless you're a member ($45 to become a member). Seems like a bait and switch.
I think the savings is for members only. That's why you see it at the original $99 dollar price as a non member

What is the difference between this 4300 and 4100 model at JC Panay?

Or you can get the Oral B 1500 2 pack as well from Sams. You get free shipping being a member ( you will find other posts for free membership as well).

I wouldn't read it as - it's a beast it rips the gums apart. Lower powered brushes tend to basically stop/stutter, battery doesn't last as long etc. This one has a pressure sensor and a sensitive mode, which would be fairly gentle, but then again, personal experience...ymmv, really depends. My wife has very sensitive gums and uses electric toothbrush all the time, it's fine, its more about getting used to how to do it vs the manual one.

Also, with this vs Philips One, I'd probably take this unless you want it for travel. The little stands/chargers keep the brush upright so they don't take a lot of space and they dry quickly (and you can tuck away the cords, etc). The benefit of the One is that it has a case, but it doesn't dry well in there so you probably are going to end up just having the brush laying around plugged in which takes a bit of space and doesn't look very good with all the wires, etc.

Any experience with the colors? Are they really going to send pink and black? Nothing in the description, other than from the pictures
