I got the one year free thru tmobile but unfortunately the show selection is subpar. Good thing is the live news and football on Sundays
The new southpark episode or special episode is on there "Post Covid"
Fyi, Yellowstone is not available on Paramount Plus. I signed up to watch it and found out it's on Paramount, but not Plus.

Guess my T-Mobile free year will have to wait another month, another month of no adverts sounds good even if I hardly use it

assuming you have kids and they are watching this (viacom does have a solid batch of children's shows on this.) but if you are getting this for yourself? what shows are you getting a year's use out of? paramount just left me a bit meh after 1 month. not sure i could bring myself to pay $25 a year for it, much less $50 or $100. has the library improved recently?
Well depends. I'd pay $50 yearly for no commerical version for my mom np. She watches whatever those morning soap operas are on this, cause sometimes misses them on live TV from antenna + after watching them few months on this the commercials are killer on regular TV.

Hell I may even have to pay full price... I'll maybe have to see how many commercials are on the cheaper plan and if it's extremely few šŸ¤”

I pay for the commercial free… if kids like SpongeBob it is nice. It has all the new show next day, all the Star Trek shows, Sunday football, and Champions League. I can't do commercials once went commercial free. It's not as bad as Hulu ads, but still.

I've heard complaints how they charge you even if you cancel. And cust svc won't help.
probably from people who didn't cancel in time. i've canceled in time every time and never have been charged and i've been subscribed off and on many times.

I don't have any trouble with the Paramount + app on Roku
i hate the app, they have some good tv shows to choose from, but the episodes are hit and miss, and finding something in particular that you are loooking for can be a nightmare

Like many services, you can cancel immediately after signing up and get the service until the month is up. I wasn't sure so I just tried and confirmed this.

Seems like a nice freebie
Why the comment-less TDs

edit: meta, why the comment-less unhelpful votes?! lol
The service is horrible or people who might of taken up the Paramount T-mobile essentials deal (Ad-supported).

Due to the absolute hate for the commercials being put at maximum. Think about regular TV a 30 or 60 minute timeslot is 30 to 60 minutes because they pad is as many commercials they can. The service is pretty bad. The app is really bad.

Unless you pay full price for commercial free. You'll really have to like watching the old shows they have licenses for. As new content is pretty slow/sparse. Or already on regular TV to begin with.

This is only for new subs now. The last few months I was able to add the codes to my existing account and I would get another free month. Now it's not allowing it and you can't sign in and enter the new code.

I only use Paramont Plus commercial free for a few shows anyways that I can watch elsewhere. I'm not creating another account for a free trial.lol

I'm on season 4 of Cheers, so I'm getting a lot of use out of it for that. We also watch Love Boat, Hawaii Five-O, and the ongoing Star Trek series. My youngest son watches the new animated Star Trek, and 2 of my kids watch the old Twilight Zone.

I would also be watching Taxi & Happy Days, but they only seem to have certain episodes, which is strange.

I'll admit that I only sort of like ST Discovery, there are a lot of things I don't particularly like about it. However, I am very much looking forward to the new ST series coming out in a few months with Captain Pike & Spock on the Enterprise.

In case anyone wants to browse their catalog before signing up: https://www.justwatch.com/us/prov...mount-plus

There's literally nothing exclusive on here that I'm interested in.

remember when i had paramount, seen some of the old shows and thought it might fun to revisit those. then checked the seasons and noticed, it was only like 1-2 seasons a lot of times. seemed pointless to "binge" a series if you could only watch 1/5th (or less) of it.

I assume this is because of pre-existing agreements for offering the episodes to other services. Once those expire, over time, I imagine that they will eventually have all of those shows/episodes available on here.

I watched Season 1 of Yellowstone, and the prequel series is going to be on here. I might end up watching that.

For a free month, I'll take it. Not much I am interested in, but a few movies like Quiet Place 2 I can watch. Thanks OP
