Wonder what level "Shimano" these include, since Shimano is found on everything from Walmart bikes to pro.

Saw a video review from September 2021 clearly showing Shimano Altus. A little better, but that's only one step above Tourney. I do like the fenders and lights being included. I just paid $1500 for a popular lookalike bike with a better display. I would have jumped on this deal at $1000.

I think there's $900 tax credit on purchase of electric bike.

Can anyone confirm?

And is this bike eligible?

Sounds like it's in the works, but not approved yet.

After seeing all the electric bike listings I'm starting to feel like a weirdo for preferring the old fashioned pedal-only kind.

compared to 500w lectric for about $120 or so less, this seems like a better deal including the "suspension" fork. was waiting for a $500 deal on the lectric but maybe this is the best deal. I wanted a 20" for the lower height, any suggestions? i'm ok with 36v, I have a jetson bolt but I can't seem to secure the seat post from turning around because the clamp has rubber so when I attach a trailing bike it moves around.

For those who can't decide between the Lectric 2.0 and this, here's a list (I have a 2.0) just rode a Swift this week)

Swift Strengths:
Large Battery
4 Inch tires provide more stability during rides.
Better gearing
Slightly better controller. (the Lectic can be jumpy when providing power and turning power off)

Lectric 2.0 Strengths:
Hydraulic fork and suspension seatpost offers a smoother ride
3 inch tires have less rolling resistance
Built in rear rack
Possibility to turn into a cargo bike with $149 accessory package.

This bike has a high step over height and handlebar stem. Its rated for riders down to 5'4" but its better suited to taller riders. This stopped me from buying it for my wife so I wanted to put it out there.
