There's always a use for most products by someone, but that doesn't mean it's a product with a big enough market to make it worth selling via a normal retail outlet like Target. It's just too much of a niche item.

The automation capabilities allow for tons of different functionalities in and out of the streaming community, which is far from small. Some people even use them for gaming to run macros or hot swap key configurations. I have never, personally, been told something bad by someone that I know who owns one. Many other people want them but they are on the pricier side.
There is plenty of market for them.
Also be aware as of v5.4 of StreamDeck software, you can add "pages" to the Streamdeck. You can dedicate one of the buttons to being a right arrow which will take you to another page of keys. You can add multiple pages.
