I did read it, and I just re-read it.

You didn't make any mention of looking for the Tracfone-specific version of the phone. Just asking why "this phone" isn't available anywhere else.

In any case, vendor-specific products are a thing. Especially if they're a big enough vendor like HSN.
Because it's an HSN exclusive

They have a partnership with Tracfone for specific deals
And I've found this for you:

"Why isn't this phone listed at any other store? Not Best Buy, target, Amazon , nowhere."

Thanks for the info. I guess no more TracFone min/text/data deals
No way to know, they may want to up their numbers & get rid of current inventory so might be some deals. All we can do right now is be aware & wait to see what happens.

TracFone doesn't have bloat at all. Whatever bloat it may have had can easily be uninstalled. With my TracFone Moto g power, it has a "device pulse app" and "My account TracFone app" which is well needed and useful. With the TracFone iPhone SE, it only has the "My account app".

Visible has quite a few hoops to jump through. Some people complained about trade-in process. Trade-ins have been nightmares for many whether it's hyla with google fi or Samsung. They probably use hyla. Maybe it is unlocked? Maybe it will need the 2 month requirement ($25 or $5 for first month and $40 for 2nd month) to be unlocked? People complained about missing bands with the visible unlocked phone too. Sounds like you just want the phone and abandon visible ASAP. Zero interest in visible service plans.

If one has no intention in using tracfone service and only want the phone, I can see the appeal of the visible deal. However the appeal to this deal is the phone and annual plan. For a light user, it may be enough. Plus a big pro for tracfone is their rollover and them giving away free points that one could use for add-ons. TracFone my app is nicely organized with their tracking min/text/data and reward system.

*** No joke. I just won 1000 points in "spin the wheel" right now. That could be used on more minutes, texts and data.
I am not going to comment on the bloat part. I haven't used every single Tracfone phone existed so I can only comment based on the Tracfone phones I have owned. For the 2 Tracfone android phones that I have owned in the past (one ZTE and one LG), I know I couldn't uninstall some of the unwanted apps directly and I had to debloat them by using adb shell. Take Facebook as an example. I don't consider Facebook as an essential app but I can neither uninstall or even disable it on my Tracfone phone. iPhone is a totally different story. I had 3 iPhone 6s from Tracfone and those were pretty much bloat free.

In any case, I don't think you fully understand what I have typed earlier. What I was saying is to get the Moto G Pure through the swap deal from Visible and use it for 1 month with Visible service. In the mean time, order the 1 year Tracfone plan from Ebay for $40. Once the Visible plan is expired, you can activate the Tracfone service and use it on the Moto G Pure you get from Visible. Depending on how much you value the trade in phone, getting the Visible Moto G Pure and the 1 year Tracfone plan may cost a little more than this bundle, but in exchange you are getting 1 extra month of unlimited service from Visible and 1.5GB more data for the Tracfone 1 year plan. (Tracfone Ebay plan comes with 1500/1500/3000 min/text/data vs 1500/1500/1500 in this bundle)

About the Visible part, yes, you can argue that some people are having tons of issues with it, but most of the people never have issues with their trade ins. Personally, I have done the swap deal 3 different times with Visible and they all went through with 0 problems every time (including the Moto G Pure that we are talking about here). The phone is unlocked out of the box, and the 2 months thing is just their official policy. I am not sure why missing bands is an issue when we are comparing the Visible Moto G Pure vs Tracfone Moto G Pure. With missing bands, at least you can still use it on some other carriers, but with a locked phone, you cannot use it on any other carriers (unless you count Simple Mobile, Total Wireless, etc. as other carriers).

One last thing I want to say is that my problem is never about the Tracfone service. I have a Tracfone account myself; and many times in the past, I have suggested people to buy the 1 year plan and join the Tracfone reward program to get points for extra min/text/data, etc. From the beginning, I have always taken both the Moto G Pure and the Tracfone annual plan into consideration; and my conclusion is that getting the phone from Visible then using it with the ebay Tracfone annual plan will end up being a better deal than just getting this bundle.

Phones like this are good to keep in the car for GPS, WAZE etc.
No need to fill out your contacts and all that stuff that the spies like. (use separate gmail etc)

The beauty of these low spec phones is that they dont have the powerful processors and lots of ram so they don't guzzle power.

I'll lose track of my Moto G Power for a couple of weeks and then find it with 67% power remaining. My flagship phones would have been dead long before that

Agree, Moto G power 2020 is one of the better TracFones with 4ram/64storage, 1080p screen & big battery, much better than most of the entry level TF with 3/32.

Then get a decent flagship phone if battery life is your concern. IPhone 13 has a battery life of over 10 hours. Doubt moto g can beat that. Or just plug in your phone when you are in the car. Then those apps won't use up your battery.

I've unlocked several, all work on other networks. If you're referring to older TracFones they were limited to specific networks (VZ only) & didn't have necessary GSM bands.
False information. Most TracFone's phone has full GSM bands... The moto G pure has most bands for any US carrier that you need in US

So you can pay $5 total and get an unlocked Moto G Pure and cancel or are there more required monthly charges?
yes, $5 total with phone and one month unlimited service service on "swap". even you never need to "active" it at all to use the phone on other carrier . Take a look the Visible deal thread for the information

I was referring to the older Tracfones (before they started with the DL models) which didn't have GSM, they were either one or the other. I also said most TF from past 4-5 yrs have all bands.

Just wondering, where did you get phones incompatible with Visible for the swap deal? I tried iPhone SE and 6S, but no luck.

I used LG Volt and Huawei Union - old Sprint-compatible android phones that were on Ring+ and Tello.

"Get a decent flagship phone if battery life is a concern."...... Haha. You think the iPhone 13 with its small 3240 mAh battery and its powerful battery hungry processor is going to be better with battery life than the Moto G Power with its large 5000 mAh battery and its battery efficient snapdragon 665 processor. You make jokes. While the iPhone 13 has improved its battery life over the iPhone 12, it doesn't have better battery life than the Moto G Power which easily goes over 10 hours screen time. It is no joke when people say that they can charge their phones every 3 days (possibly 4 days for light user). I don't think Apple iPhone 13 user will be charging every 3 days..... Nothing wrong if someone wants to use a cheap spare phone for as a gps for $50 rather than spend $800 for iPhone 13 that uses up its battery. If someone constantly uses gps in their car especially long trips, the more reason to avoid using one's daily driver phone as a GPS.

You missed it.
I have flagship phones (Android and iPhone)
These cheap phones can handle a lot of tasks as second and third phones
No reason to wear it out using it for GPS, and tracking and contact spying etc when I can use a $50 phone (that uses little juice) for the same thing (and leaving contacts out).
Battery cycling is what kills phones off the most so go easy on flagship use for tasks a cheap phone can do
These days multiple phones are the way to go
Nobody should be locked-in to one phone when so many decent capability phones are available for price of a couple pizzas

Verizon prepaid android phones used to work but not sure if they still work now. My most recent swap was done using a ZTE phone from Tracfone.

If you want to buy a phone for swap, you can look for any android phone that is ATT/T-Mo/Sprint/non-Verizon Prepaid on Ebay or Craigslist. If you want to be safe, look for something that is old but in good condition and not blacklisted. Also, message the seller and ask for the IMEI so that you can check to see if it is eligible for swap. Other than that, the phone can be carrier locked and have crappy specs like 1GB ram + 8GB storage.
