I have no need for this, so I went ahead and grabbed one.

Mine came with a leak in the front tube. Took me 10 minutes to get the tire and tube off, but I cracked the fender in the process. Be careful of the fenders if you have to remove the wheels.

for the sale price this scooter is worth it but it does horribly up the hill. My segway es3 is much stronger up the hill. if you are getting this for flat surface riding then its a deal. if you have to climb lots of hills in your area, then this scooter fails.

Well my drama continues. The Hover-1 said to return it to Walmart as it's defective, but I told them Walmart won't replace it. They will only offer a refund so I'm kind of screwed.

Hover-1 said they don't have any in stock so they can't replace it for me.

This is pretty pathetic at this point from.m both companies.

Mine came in today too. I had to adjust the brakes by re centering them. Basically loosen the two bolts that hold the brake until the brake can wiggle slightly, squeeze the brake handle while tightening the brake bolts back in and done

1st trip: 12 miles, 1 notch left on the battery gauge (not sure how much further I could've gone), 190 lbs (me plus loaded backpack), was able to average 15-17 mph...reached 20mph on level ground, does slow to 13-15 on slight inclines.

If the battery gauge is accurate, the range seems much lower than estimated.
Charging time in super long.
I didn't like the cruise control feature...wish it has regen braking.

Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

To prevent bolts from shaking loose. Some say preapply to load bearing bolts, others say wait till they are loose.

Makes sense, I do avoid loctite as you can possibly over-torque the bolts as well (unless we have the torque spec for these bolts). I'll hold off for now and will just check them by hand when the scooters arrive though - thanks for the tip.

Well bolts and screws. I would focus on the screws on the brake lever, those around the folding bracket, kick stand, and any other screws that get a lot of vibration and wear.

On this page on the last picture it shows the 2 style of connectors, new and old. My Blackhawk is definitely the new blade style with the 3 slits in the middle.
Just received my 2 scooters today - they are the new style connectors.
