Not only the quality, but the currency as well. I went to find our house and the previous owner's vehicles were in the driveway. We have lived here 5+ years. I guess that is comparable to Google Earth though.

Having said that I paid more than $6.99 for this app and IMO it is worth at least that much. It can be a fun time killer.

Had this and retuned it. It just puts Street View on the Oculus. Still 2D and low resolution. And if Google hasn't mapped it, you can't go there.

Its Google Earth repackaged but the interface and multiplayer is easily worth the $7.

I personally enjoy this. I've used it to see the houses my grandparents lived in and surrounding areas they grew up in. I've used it to see places I've traveled to in other countries to bring back some of the memories I had there. It's a lot better than just looking at Google maps on a screen. A lot closer feel to being there in my opinion. If you have an Oculus and are interested in travel, for $7 I don't think you'll be disappointed.

for $7, I'll bite. New owner of oculus, got it during the BF madness.
Would be good to 'show off' the device to friends/family over christmas and NYE get togethers.
