Thanks OP!
Don't forget to use promo code 2DAYHOLIDAY , for free 2 day shipping.
The problem isn't the technology. It's Google's inability to stick with a project. Google has already stopped supporting the internal game developers. Stadia is likely already dead.

if you are not going to stick with stadia, this isn't a good deal; the controller cannot be used for PC via Bluetooth. the only way to use this controller on PC is (it should be wired, not bluetooth) to use it on steam, but it also takes some settings, and sometimes it needs to be re-done...

At least you could use the Chromecast still, just not sure I'd invest anything into owning any games on the platform just yet until there's a clear front runner in the streaming game market. It feels like it could be buying a Betamax and not realizing VHS will become the standard.
For sure, I bought the stadia bundle when Cyberpunk 2077 came out and got this bundle for free - haven't spent a dime since.

How long until Stadia is Killed By Google [killedbygoogle.com]?
Yeah seriously. I don't buy google anymore. This is one of the many reasons.

If this controller was able to be used as a normal controller on PC or phones then it might be worth this price.

Got this a couple months ago. No brainer. Impressed with latency. As long as you aren't playing a competitive shooter on this it's good for everything else. Got two for the kids and one for me for Xmas, and took advantage of the $10 off for new accounts and got Valhalla for $5, and 6 months pro free from att fiber. Great deal.
New to google gaming platform and wondering if there are good games worth spending time? and how expensive to own these games? Even before buying are there any worthy games trying out free?

It wasn't too bad playing games on internet. I think the downside is what happens to our paid games once the platform goes. That's the scary part. Otherwise they delivered provided that one has good internet.

Considering I invested +$3000 for twenty years… a subscription model where we pay for games we play for the temporary moment isnt a bad deal. I probably would genuinely consider this if I didn't already own all the games I ever wanted. I probably barely played worth a fraction of them.
And this is why I think Geforce Now is the better option because even if the subscription model dies, you still have all your games from the primary platform such as steam, epic, origin, etc

I have a backlog in Steam of like 500 games, so I'm not ready to pay each month for the latest or whatever is on the menu. I have many hours of content to play.

As far Stadia (free), it is a novelty for me. I bought the latest JackBox PartyPack 6 from them because I like that I no longer have to have my laptop or leave my Steam PC at home running Steamcast to be able to play the game at someone's home. Now with Stadia I can run it on my tablet or phone with Stadia hosting the host version. Stadia app on phone will broadcast to eligible Chromecast device if they are on same wifi.

Shipping is free to return this, I returned my device because I just found this to be a total waste of money and it was overly frustrating to deal with. I have no use of a chromecast and the controller would be pretty good if it worked with the PC out the box without doing the stadia thing but no dice.

I picked up the free one back last summer, sold it for like $50 bucks. Now I ordered this as I have a use for another Chromecast ultra. The ultra seems to be about 25$ bucks on ebay so this is a win!

I'm assuming because I already used my free stadia 3 months I won't get another?

I'd be in if the controller could be used on other devices like a Switch
