Having had the service for 2 years now, you would definitely have to pay me to bring me over if I was with another carrier. They're on the same network as Vzw but I had Vzw for 10 years then switched and my reception and data speeds literally took a nosedive. Only reason I stick with Xfinity is because I'm on wifi all day now and I'm paying $30 for two lines.

You can do google voice, I did one during last month's promotion. If you decide to go with google voice follow these instructions.

The 200$ offer disappeared after I place my order, is that ok? Will it show up in the account after activation
Quote from gz00000 :
Same with my order. Before I placed it, the $200 was there. After I placed the order and went back to check the order, there is no $200 listed in.
Last month the $200 promo would only show up in cart during checkout -- there's no mention of it after placing the order (save PDFs of website promo terms and your cart during checkout)

You can check https://xfinityincentivetracker.com a week after activating to see if $200 promo is pending on there (search by mobile number & zip)

My back up internet is xfinity aat 50 down and 10 up for $20 a month. I do this every year to offset that cost. Keep the xfinity line for 3 months then cancel after getting the reward card. Net profit is about $140 on that and it covers my internet for 7 months..
How do you get that rate? The cheapest they'll give me is $80 for 20/80 and that's with me user pricing

Isn't Xfinity mobile postpaid and that means they do a credit pull? Is this worth a credit pull?
If you are an Xfinity internet customer, you get 2 lines without being credit pulled

Stupid question: can you do port-out existing lines with paid off devices(quick round trip) & port-in?

Anyone tried this with boost mobile ? As an existing XM customer , if I get the boost mobile sim kit and bring it over to XM, does XM validate if it is a new customer (SSN ?) or it just needs a new number activation?

Visible is VoLTE only so you would need good LTE coverage for service -- Xfinity and other MVNOs still have access to CDMA network for calls/texts so its probably a safer option overall

Visible is cheap and has had its ups and downs but I personally wouldn't put my main number on it yet (I'll wait until VZ postpaid goes VoLTE only) -- I don't mind using Visible service on my spare line when there's a promo
My primary is on Visible now, no complaints. Paying $25 month with Stride discount. Less 5G coverage than TMo here but worth the savings, lots of LTE everywhere.

Stride is a free benefit for gig drivers. You need to drive for Amazon, Lyft or another gig partner to get it IIRC.

Why would you need a spare line?

It all depends on how you use it. Since me and my family are on wifi 90% of the time, I have 3 lines on pay by the gig shared. That means we all share 1Gb of data. It costs $18/month, plus taxes, so about $20 a month for 3 lines.
