Having had the service for 2 years now, you would definitely have to pay me to bring me over if I was with another carrier. They're on the same network as Vzw but I had Vzw for 10 years then switched and my reception and data speeds literally took a nosedive. Only reason I stick with Xfinity is because I'm on wifi all day now and I'm paying $30 for two lines.
Yep 90 days service is required, $18(By gig Includes taxes) * 3 = $54, $200 -$54 = $146(NET PROFIT)

I had some other issues that required me to escalate to the executive support. The rep who was very knowledgeable did mention that lines that I had ported but did not put the sim in did not show up as fully activated on their end. However, I don't think that matters. Based on data points from a previous thread, as long as the port is successful, you're fine

Gotcha. I will be using the lines so I need to insert them and have them functioning. I have done it before but was not sure if Xfinity put any changes in as your original post seemed to suggest.

For anyone in the same situation (activate SIMS on correct IMEI phone and then switching), I just swapped mine and both phones can make and receive calls.

Thanks for the info. Can I activate the sim before I receive it? My order tracking estimate is 1/12. If this deal requires the line be activated by 1/10, I will have to try activation without the sim. I am not clear if 1/10 deadline is for ordering a sim or activating a line.

Depends. the phone needs to be unlocked. If it is unlocked and the phone is currently being used on Verizon or a mvno of Verizon, the activation will get stuck. If it's TMobile or at&t, it may work.

It worked fine for me when using my same device that's currently active on Verizon visible. No issues at all... Activation was successful and after I activated the Xfinity sim I simply put my visible sim back in the phone.

I had a phone on redpocket Verizon, and it wouldn't go through. Reps kept getting device currently in use error. As soon as I swapped the sim for that carrier into another device, the port worked. So I guess it depends. The problem is, if you run into activation issues, it's a huge headache to get sorted out

wtf the deal with Xfinity... Is this once in a lifetime offer??

I have been with xfinity before and they are saying that they don't have the option to port this over instead they can only "reactivate" the details and as they already see the phone# and IMEI linked to my account from before (I was with them back in 2020 and then moved over to Tmobile).
So even though I have not been with xfinity for past 2 years, I will not be eligible for this promo

Thing is, I need to retain my phone numbers and looks like there's no way to do that AND qualify for this promotion.
