I own a Dell Inspiron that has almost exactly the same specs as the 65G7 model with a touch screen. The only thing I don't like about the Dell laptop is the dark AF crappy screen. And I paid about the same price. Overall I would say the specs are awesome for the price.

Yep, I returned the Dell and bought this instead. Best decision in a while, screen on the Dell is garbage .

It looks like a good deal and I just dropped my 4-year old laptop last week. Looks like it can handle most job just fine. I don't plan to do any heavy duty task with this one. Oled should be fine although hope resolution could be better. But for the price cannot ask a perfect machine

Only if this was a 2 in 1 i decided to buy the Samsung alpha flex 2 (QLED) for $550 when it was on sale 2 months ago even at 13.3" i'm happy with it you don't know who asus is using for its oled panel i think this one might have burn in issues considering the price point not the oled tech its self

Is it just me or is this discussion off the rails? No, it's not a super duper deluxe slick deal, but as far as I can tell it's a fairly good deal. Especially if you take delivery time into account. I couldn't find anything else with an i7, 1 tb SSD 16 Gb spec within a couple hundred. There have been several better deals in the past couple of months, but most of them were still $$ more and\or not available at the moment. If you've got a better deal post it and glow in the rep, otherwise stfu gbtw.

Looking for some help. If I can lock in the below through an employment benefit, do people think it's better than this deal? If this ASUS is not OOS. The below has a slot for add'l membory and option for second SSD hard drive (will put in +16GB and +1TB SSD). Before those adds it will be $675. I am not gaming, this is replacing my (hardly working) laptop from 2009.
