This Bowflex has wheels so you can lift one side and roll it.

For me there a couple things I don't like about this bench in this price range. First, there's a significant 4inch gap between seat and back cushions when bench is in flat position. Second, its a bit bulky with a 24inch height when stowed.

Within $200 range I found the Fitness Reality 2000 SuperMax to be very recommended (check it out on Youtube). It solves gap issue and stows down to under 10inches. Perhaps this fits your stow away needs better as well.

I bought the 3.1 about 6-7 years ago and absolutely love it. I use it 5 times a week and would kill for the extra two angles. I've never noticed the gap at all but I'm 5'10" so maybe that factors into it. That sucker is stable even with 430 pounds. If you only need to move it from spot to spot, it's super easy but if you are navigating tight spots to hide it, it could be a big pain.

If you live near a city, I'd keep an eye on Craigslist. I see these throughout the year for under $100 near DC.

Purchased this Bench a few weeks ago after researching all of the other cheap Chinese brands on Amazon. Found less issues with the Bowflex than any alternatives. If you hate the gap so much, then is obviously not for you. For me the bench holds up great and suits my purposes just fine, if something happens to it, Costco has me covered. I don't need to deal with an Amazon seller. Most benches sub 250 on Amazon have plenty of images of torn up welds and padding as well as bad reviews. Not to mention you can hardly trust any good reviews on Amazon as sellers compensate well for good reviews and do all they can to get rid of bad ones.

If you need a real heavy duty quality bench, you should be looking in the +400 price range. Not anything like this, and I would assume you should know better if your into heavy lifting and such. Alas, humans always surprise me at their cheapness.

I got this bench for $199 in store. There were no more in stock at my store but they let me take the display model. It saved me a trip of having to put it together myself. I think this is well worth the price as I am a heavy lifter. Easily bench hundred pound dumbbells and I damaged my past bench I bought off of Amazon. This one claims to hold 600lbs and I believe it on the way that this feels.
