2. (Optional) Cancel subscription right away - you will be able to play until trial expires

I just signed up on the website and used a Privacy card just in case. Honestly, I'm not sure if you even need to sign up... but maybe that's why the guy above got the error that he did.

Note that you will be unable to remove your payment method if it's the only payment method, even after cancelling your membership. I'm not saying that you'll be charged after the fact, but it's annoying that you can't tie up this loose end.

Thanks! Successfully signed up for the trial but now getting a "This code isn't valid for the items in your cart" when I try to check out the liner.

I messed up and just skipped to the enter code part… anyways you definitely need to sign up it seems and only get one chance to sign up with a valid card. If you don't you get the error checking out from my experience!
