The packaging even says each container is 4.5 oz, not lbs.

FacepalmOMG you are so right! My math skills stink. The box says 36 0z total and I was figuring at 8 oz = 1 lb rather than the correct 16 oz = 1 lb. Now that's embarrassing and I thank you for the heads up on it. I've updated the thread.
