They are on all days anymore, with many requiring reservations. These days are a joke. "Free" day at a national park that you fund is another joke.

Annual passes for most of the bigger parks (Yosemite, Yellowstone, etc.) are $70. A day pass is typically around $35. The average taxpayer contribution, annually, is less than $5.
