28 version was released so the 27 version is on sale. The retail price was $160 when they were first released. Currently on sale for $67.47 before tax. Free shipping. More sizes are available for men's than women's sizes.

These versions were a huge disappointment compared to previous years. As noted they run small and narrow. I took a caliper measurement and they're about 5 mm narrower than my 25s. Very noticeable difference in stability. Worst of all the toe box collapses. The toe guard is made of an almost plastic like material that hurts against your toes once it collapses.

It depends Nimbus is a neutral shoe while kayano is Max stability.

Notes that it runs small so size up a half size. That might be true, but we found the mens Kayano 27 runs narrow compare to most Asics and previous Kayano models. Size length didn't matter when it was simply too narrow to wear and we returned them. Women's 27 sizing is great and my wife likes it as much as any previous years she has had.

For those wondering, these are one of the better running shoes with support. I find the middle arch and gel give great support compared to most brands. Brooks Adrenaline GTS makes a good orthotic running shoe as well. My .02
