Replaced: Front ball joints
Replaced: all struts and shock
Replaced: transmission
And other stuff I can't think of off hand
It's really not bad when you replace parts yourself. Just go there tell them you Replaced parts and just want an alignment. I have never been upsold or told I need something.

"A lifetime limited warranty*, meaning Firestone will realign your car whenever you need it, for free, for as long as you own the car."
Not to discount anyone else's experience but I've never had a problem with Firestone and this is the third vehicle I've purchased their lifetime alignment for.

My brother went here when i was out of town for repair.
Whatever they hand, you. Just say no. Simple. One of the best annual reoccurring deals out there. Just got a new 2022, so I'm buying.
I usually do one annually as just normal maintenance, often before a long road trip. Then anytime I do work on my car for affected parts: suspension, CV Axle, stabilizer links, ball joints, etc.
Well worth it. Anytime the steering seems a little off I just take it right in instead of being worried I'm wasting money.
Oh, BTW, this 'discount' price was the regular price in ~2016... well, it was a little cheaper ($140) and we'd often give substantial discounts to include a set of tires. The discounts varied but it generally took it down to $100 or less.
If you've ever done an alignment with a decent machine, you'll understand how overpriced this is unless you're aligning a 4x4 Dodge.
Firestone treats any pays their mechanics like absolute shit as a company policy, everything is structured around farking the labor (back shop) staff as much as possible unless they're ridiculously productive. fark that company, I'm so glad I moved onto a different industry.
My friend once went in for a free oil change and ended up with a $600 repair bill .
Another friend had a "lifetime" of free oil changes .... after a few "free" oil changes he told me he stopped going because they cost him too much ... hahaha
Yes the Groupon deals are great less out of pocket but if you plan on keeping your car more than 2 years then you should get this deal.

Just ignore the upsell, see a different mechanic for repairs.
Note to those with sports cars - many techs cannot drive stick shift. Also, WATCH them because they will "test drive" the vehicle afterwards. Why is this an issue? 22 year old kid who can't drive stick will burn your clutch out and scrape you bumper going for a joy ride and claim its a "test drive". If the alignment isn't correct, just come back again later when you test it or check the spec papers.
