Do I have to be apart of the vaccination club to partake in this. Also do I have to wear a mask while sitting on a plane that recycles the air for everyone to breath?

I guess you haven't flown since the pandemic? But vaccinations are only required if you're flying internationally or to Hawaii. If you're flying from another state into LAX you're "required" to fill out a form stating that you don't have Covid and that you've been tested but I put required in quotes because no one checks this form.

If you go to the north bay, it's cheaper and much more convenient to fly Avelo Air. Most flights are $29 each way.

I found out about STS flights from sonomacountyexplore.com
Cool airline, first time hearing about it. Only problem is that if your intended destination is San Fran then landing in STS might be a hassle that could add to the cost especially if you're traveling alone. Another thing, it appears that Avelo charges 10 bucks for a carryon so it might be cheaper or the same if you do in fact score a $78 ticket with the other airline. Lastly, it might not be the most convenient for people that live closer to LAX than to Burbank. I live in Irvine and Bubank airport is about 20 mins farther than LAX (time wise). A big plus though is that the $29 one way flights seem to be more consistent throughout the year.

I would be more worried about getting robbed, shot or better yet killed. You're worried about the cold. Nice!

Actually, I've been on like 6 vacation road trips since Covid began and I did fly to San Francisco early 2020. I've been taking advantage of the fear and living life since the majority of people enjoy living in fear. Let's get 6 feet closer, that's how we end covid.

Personally, I'm young, healthy, and triple vaccinated so I've also been taking advantage of the fear/concern (i.e. cheap flights) by flying a lot in the past two years not that's it's been much of a change though since I used to fly weekly for work before the pandemic now it's just flying for leisure.

I was in SF recently. Don't be an idiot and you'll be fine. If you bring a car leave your stuff at your hotel or rental. I didn't see individuals being robbed in broad daylight. I was walking down the Embarcadero alone at night near Oracle Park and I didn't run into any problems.

Unlike most fake cities in America where it's really a suburb with a semi dead central business district, locals actually hang out around the city so there are usually other people there to avoid being truly alone in the city. Certain neighborhoods like Tenderloin are rough and should be avoided at night, especially the areas that have not seen gentrification.

The amount of hysteria over store robberies among people who don't live there or haven't been there is incredible. Not that I'm saying it's not a problem (it is), but I don't understand the leap you have to take from rising shop lifting to thinking that as a tourist you'll be shot over your wallet at any corner.

Based on what these people would say it would sound like literally no sane person hangs out in SF. My experience was the opposite. Yes, there are a lot of homeless people, especially in some parts where it's really bad, but there were a ton of people living their normal lives and it was great seeing people actually living in a city, unlike most American "cities" I've visited.

Glad you survived. But even the mayor said 90 percent of people she talks to have been a victim of a crime... and that no police show up for most crimes because of the defend and fire police movement...tell the mayor you survived.... Cars get broken with nothing visible, and you fot got to mention used needles and poo and pee 💩 everywhere and lots of zombie drug ies... its not worth it

Cars get broken in all the time in SF, since my first visit. It's a running joke among locals, but I know plenty of people I know who live there fine. Most crime there is property and easy robberies (i.e. car break-ins, shop lifting, etc). Homelessness is a big problem. I can almost guarantee nothing is going to fix that unless the literal climate in California changes or there's some major homelessness program, but I bet the ACLU will constantly challenge that. A homeless person can survive in a tent outside in LA or SF. Good luck trying to do that in the summer in Arizona or winters in Montana. I'm surprised no one talks about that aspect of homelessness but it doesn't fit the narrative so they don't like talking about that.
