Factory reconditioned.

Best price I've seen on brushless drill/driver combo, particularly the HP combo. Doesn't explicitly say, but the batteries pictured look like the 2ah HP batteries. Those usually sell for $79/each.

I've had decent luck with factory reconditioned stuff from Direct Tools. Had one broken part on a drill press, but it was replaced after a call to customer service, no questions asked.

(2) ZRPBP002 18V 1.5 Ah batteries,

ZR is, from what I've seen, the recon designation which makes these pbp002. If that is the case those are standard 1.5Ah batteries. Albeit with the fuel gauge, which is nice.

Still a good deal.

Support is good. Just make sure you put a good test on them. We had a ryobi air pump that failed on the 2nd tire. They replaced it after we sent it back.

The pictures appear to show the 1.5ah batteries with these. Still not a terrible deal for brushless.

The compact brushless comes with 1.5ah. The bigger brushless set comes with 2ah batteries

They don't have massive power, but I love these doing electrical work. This and the brushless 3/8 angle drill have been a godsend. It doesn't wear my arms out working overhead for hours.

I have this kit and it is really nice, especially for the price. I have fairly large hands so these almost feel like toys, but I have dropped the drill a few times and it's holding up great. They have plenty of power. My only complaint, which is not a complaint at all really, is the impact is pretty loud. Not crazy loud, but noticeably louder than the regular sized ryobi impacts. Like I said though, they don't lack power. I would definitely buy again at this price.

Yay. I get the recon whenever the tool I want is available recon. Usually about half retail (Home Depot) price. Warranty is shorter but I have never had a failure (knock wood).

Are these tools/batteries compatible with the non-HP batteries/tools?
