Great price for "Homecoming", a nice finish to the abrupt end of Voyager's series, which was the farthest into the future of established Star Trek canon that we ever saw on screen.

What about Discovery?

I said Voyager was the end of established canon.

So, in your universe, even those who simply find fault with the writing or some performances in a show happen to be "alt-right extremists"?

I'm glad its a universe I don't live in.

Exactly. The left acts like diversity and inclusion are important but as soon as someone does not have same PoV they are labeled as you point out.

I've not been a fan of Discovery for multiple reasons. No thanks.

Putting the Discovery book as the default thumbnail wasn't the best idea, but some of these titles are very much worth more than a buck.

It's currently the most watched original show on Paramount+, so it's probably a good idea.
Only alt-right extremists trying to make Star Trek the next battleground in their anti-diversity "Culture Wars" hate Discovery. The rest of us love it.

Don't believe me? The book you're complaining about is currently the #4 best selling Star Trek book on Amazon. And all 4 Discovery books listed here are in the top 10.

That is a pretty dumb take. In point of fact, the people who most hate Discovery are those who grew up with a version of Star Trek that have you things to think about, where not every problem got solved at gunpoint.

Discovery isn't aimed at Star Trek fans at all. It's aimed at Star Wars fans, and Star Wars was always a shallow story.

That's how shallow people like him/her/they/it think. "If you don't like what I like, it can only be because you're EVIL! There's no other possible explanation!"

Also, the most watched original show on Paramount plus is 1883:

The actual reason that Discovery is not Star Trek has nothing to do with any "alt-right extremists". It's simply because the show is terrible and the stories, characters, plots have nothing remotely to do with what Star Trek is supposed to be about. Can you name another Star Trek series in which the focus is on just ONE person who always seems to have the answers to every problem? Episode after episode, season after season? Star Trek has always been about more than elevating one person to hero status. Not to mention that the main character literally committed mutiny, assaulted a superior officer (multiple actually), and started a war unprovoked.

That's not Star Trek, it's God of War.

Dude Discovery is not Star Trek at all. Congrats if this is the first Star Trek you've ever seen and you fell in love with it. However I don't recommend watching any of the classic series because you won't like them.

FWIW The Orville by Seth MacFarlane is a far superior spiritual successor to the franchise than Discovery is.
