Is it just me or does this look like a bunch of cardboard? Doesn't look like their usual high quality wood food play sets.

Much of this set is just boxes of processed foods, not actual ingredients.

You could use empty cardboard boxes from your own pantry instead of these tbh.

It is cheaply made and comparable to the cardboard sets you find at Walmart.
If you want play food, I highly recommend the M&D fruit cutting set and ice cream play set. Both are wooden and last for years.

I don't know the normal price of this other set, but imo it is definitely worth $15. I like the wood sets too but this is a really high quality rubbery plastic set.

As a parent of two toddlers, less is more. This will end up strewn all over the floor, cardboard pieces smashed and in the garbage within a month. If you're thinking of gifting, consider something simple without so many pieces that will have to be picked up.

Why not just let your kid play with a real colander?
