There's a bigger question here, and that's whether or not its really a good "deal". It's too skinny on RAM and the memory is soldered to the board. The only way to upgrade from 16 to 32GB on this, is to pre-order that config ... which negates this deal and puts your price at around $1800.

If you're OK with 16GB RAM, knowing you can never upgrade it, then it's a good deal and will still be available on DELL's site for at least a few more days (maybe a week?).

Dont bother. After going thru financing with their preferred dell credit, you may purchase it but won't get your laptop shipped to you until May. I ordered the alienware m15 r4 two weeks ago with their credit financing and yesterday and never heard from my order until now. They said itis delayed until May. Up to you if u want to wait that long

ALMOST pulled the trigger but stopped when I saw the RAM is not able to be upgraded. I like to have the choice on whether or not to upgrade RAM. It is funny that the newer M-series have upgradeable RAM.
I read that as C3PO and R2D2
Was $1111 using DPA10 and dell email coupons. This one has the 140w 3070 but soldered on memory so no upgrading.

Older cpu and only 512 ssd, but a decent price nonetheless.

16gb shouldn't be a problem for the lifetime of the laptop.

This,

Playing CP2077 and RDR2 I rarely go over 8 gigs with nothing else open. If I leave browser and other things open it gets to about 11-12
