Thanks, I'll take a look. For anyone who's gone through all the beginner / intermediate books, is there a lot of work out there available for Python and is it a good starting language?

I haven't gone through many books, but I think I can answer your questions.
Yes definitely to your second question. It's considered a very good starting language.
Yes hesitatingly to your first question. For web development, there is plenty of work, but probably less than for other languages. For data science, AI, etc, I believe it's the top language out there.

python is primarily used in data science but in this field the math is harder than the coding. If you have no interest in AI or machine learning then you're better off with other languages like Java or javascript.

Many ebooks exaggerate their list prices to boost initial sales at $0.99. This author has promoted 2 Python books at $0.99 to reach Amazon bestseller list, but they received surprisingly low review counts, so they are probably neither good nor bad enough to worth reviewing. Confused

1. Hands-On Python with 162 Exercises, 3 Projects, 3 Assignments & Final Exam: BEGINNER Kindle Edition by Musa Arda - Digital List Price $24.95, Kindle Price $0.99, 4.5 stars in 14 ratings.

2. Hands-On Python with 50 Exercises, 2 Projects, 2 Assignments & Final Exam: INTERMEDIATE Kindle Edition by Musa Arda - Digital List Price $24.95, Kindle Price $0.99, 5 stars in 1 rating.

Two other authors have also promoted 2 Python books below at $0.99 to reach Amazon bestseller list, and they have significantly higher review counts, so they are probably better than the 2 books above. Peace

3. Python Workbook: Learn Python in one day and Learn It Well (Workbook with Questions, Solutions and Projects) (Learn Coding Fast Workbook 1) Kindle Edition by Jamie Chan - Print List Price $8.97, Kindle Price $0.99, 4.4 stars in 631 ratings.

4. Python for Everybody: Exploring Data in Python 3 Kindle Edition by Charles R. Severance - Print List Price $9.99, Kindle Price $0.99, 4.6 stars in 1,996 ratings.

Python is great language to learn and there are a ton of resources out there and a huge Python community.

Others will probably disagree with me on this, but I think Python makes so many things so easy to do that I would almost hesitate to suggest it as your very first language (though I think it would be fine as a second language after you go through an introductory book in something else).
