the one thing about ultra short throw is that they are ideally projected on a perfectly flat surface. Any waves in your screen or wall or sheet or whatever your projecting on will be very magnified because of the extreme angle of incident. In my opinion, ultra short throws work best with fixed projection screens, a smooth flat wall, or possibly a drop screen that is tab tensioned and not inexpensive pulldown screens or a fabric sheet or wavy sheetrock/plaster even wall texture could be trouble.

I have a 77" OLED and a 120" UST.

No one cares about the OLED after they see the projector.

This is insane deal I pulled trigger on Black Friday for $500 more. This projector is amazing. I paired it with a Vividstorm 120" ALR screen and it's the best thing ever

I recently picked up the Samsung LSP7 for the same price. Any major differences other than the increase in brightness?

This or a 77 inch OLED for my basement? I am ok with spending upto $3000 and can get zero ambient lighting in the basement and have a whole empty wall that i can use to project stuff. Please help.

I want good blacks because literally every movie and TV show has a lot of dark scenes.

Does anyone know how this compares with the Epson 5050ub? Looking for a 4k projector around this price range for a 150 in screen.

If you don't care about the 1 day shipping, this coupon code will give you an extra 50.00 off: DIGNEWYEAR50

If you order today the 1 day shipping and the standard shipping are both the same arrival date anyways.

Any feedback on how you are using this, fully controlled dark room or how much ambient light? Did you compare with Epson 5050UB or other similar projectors?

B&H has it for same price (no extra warranty) but with payboo you'd save on sales tax

If you have full control over lighting, I'd go with the 5050+regular non-ALR screen.

If you want good blacks then nothing will beat out an OLED currently. I have an LG CX and when a scene in a movie is pitch black you can't tell if the TV is on or off. It's awesome. None of that 'grayish not really black' black.

Obviously though an OLED won't compete with the sheer size of a 120" projected image. But it depends on which youd rather have.

The Buydig spec list says something very different
2x HDMI 2.0 (HDCP 2.2, 18Gbps)
The picture of the ports on the unit also clearly show 2 HDMI 2.0 ports physically present on the device, so I'd also go with the BuyDig description!
