Both made by Tsinghua Tongfang. Element is just a brand they created and they licensed the Westinghouse name in addition. Just variations on the same TV. Perhaps some minor variations, but they will perform basically the same. Tongfang also makes most of the Onn TVs for Walmart, which again is just variation of the same TV.
For what it's worth, I was warned but bought it anyways a Westinghouse TV and regret. YMMV as I know but just over a year for no apparent reason the TV has developed a bar that goes from the top to the bottom of the screen. TV is in our bedroom and used for maybe 2 to 5 hours a week if that. Brightness unimpressive but watch TV mainly with lights out so it's OK. I would not buy another that for sure, my unit was the 55" unit so maybe this one is better. Price listed... I doubt it.

I think the point is clear. Picture quality is fair.

I get it. I know people that have LG tv with very poor contrast. I like deep inky blacks. Not grays. But they do not care.

For the price of that POS tv you could buy a projector that will broadcast a good picture with 120 inch. I use Optoma HD141x with AZ silver gray paint on a 20 dollar PVC screen,

Imagine 120 to 150 inch....Paint matters.....(Lowes 50 bucks Pearl. 10 bucks White...mix and enjoy)

75 inch...ha....still small...yes, dark room does matter. But so does the experience.

Amazing deal - but going to be bottom barrel for picture quality. However for $400 for a 70", perfect for a game room or basement, where it is not going to be the main tv.

Thank you for reporting this experience. I've learned the hard way to ALWAYS read the posts before you buy the deal.

Also have a Westinghouse and would never buy again. It was cheap and did the job for a temporary tv. But now it randomly has sound cut out, requiring me to turn the set off and on again. It's missing HDMI ARC, spdif audio, and other nice to have things I'd just expect (tho I could have known that when I bought)

5" doesn't seem like much until it's inside your room, leaving you unsatisfied and wanting more.

Feels like Westinghouse became the new RCA. Cheap tvs with cheap quality you risk buy chancing that it wont last long before issues arive. Not crapping on the deal...there are uses for tvs like this.
Last RCA I bought had Samsung printed on all the boards. I place TCL and Hisense/Toshiba in the top tier of inexpensive televisions. ONN, Emerson, and Westinghouse a notch below. That is based ONLY of my personal opinion of the viewing experience. I strongly encourage people to take a look at a TV in a store before pulling the trigger.

I am surprised the Westinghouse name is even worth paying to license, maybe its really cheap. At this price they could just the brand it "Good TV" and people would by it.

I see a lot of juvenile jokes in this one LMAO laugh out loud LMAO

75" is like 7% longer than 70" in diagonal, but if you count the area, it's (75/70)^2 = 14.8% bigger. Diagonal length does not scale linearly with area. It's a typical middle school math problem that most adults forgot.
