Even with the Red Card, I think this only works out to a 10% discount overall. Better than nothing I suppose but no better than Costco.

Depends on the card. I don't think Costco sells Steam cards.
With the Steam Deck releasing this month, it's definitely not a bad idea buy like $400-$700 worth of Steam credit for a ~12% discount.

One store near me had 6 $50 cards and another had 25 $50 and 35 $25 cards. Guess it just depends on the area you are in.
