I also had this issue. I started a live support chat and they told me to make the order, and then they applied the discount on the back end. I'm supposed to get a new confirmation email with the updated price in the next 24 hours.

Man I've tried checking out over and over again, tried my Discover card, tried paypal, ain't nothing working. Even tried different browsers. I've never seen a company want to take my money LESS than Talbots. The item I wanted was $39.99 less 60% so plenty of room to apply the $10 code. Was gonna be $6 after all was said and done. Eff this nonsense.

I got the same. Did not get an "order was done" message. I tried a 2nd time. But before I paid I checked and found the 1st was done and got an email of confirmation.
