I wanted to install Youtube Vanced (found out you can't), I wanted to side load a bunch of apps (found out you can but you need to leave your tablet in developer mode?), I wanted to install Gboard which I did but I need to watch a video on how to do this. It took me like 20 minutes to figure out how to get to OS updates. I had to read info about streaming in HD.
Bottom line, there was a learning curve. But in truth, it was not that bad.

The first thing I did right after setup was update a few apps and go to OS updates. It wanted me to restart the tablet, so I did. The second it restarted...
1. I opened Chrome
2. I hit the three verticle dots on the top right
3. went to Help (bottom)
4. went to "About Google Chrome"
5. New Tab opens and in the middleish of the page, you hit "Chrome OS Settings"
6. Now you hit either "restart", "download", etc...
I expect to do this again and this may take about 45 to 1 hour. I really don't touch it while it is doing the updates.
You have to repeat this like 3 times before it is totally up to date.
After my tablet is completely up to date, I will go to this youtube video, I use this video, some settings may be slightly different on our 10e but this is the video that helped me install Gboard.

After gboard, I go to Chrome and search Chrome Store, I then go to the Chrome store and download a add blocker for Chrome, I usually download the most popular model.
Now I am ready for apps and games. One of the apps that I always install is a memory clearer. I have used "killapps" and I have used ""app killer and manager", you download it from the app store. In my other 10e, I use killapps but I fee it does not work amazing (the OS seems to be fighting it and it takes much longer then it should).. so I will probably try "app killer and manager". You should run this app once a day or once a week or once every two weeks, when you run it make sure you have no other apps opened. I use this for my Chromebook and Android devices, every one including my Pixel 6 Pro and Samsung Tab S8+ (kill apps did not work right so I use app killer and manager for the Tab S8+).
If you had a Chromebook before, google will install all your previous apps in the background and it takes awhile... be patient. This tablet does not function well until it is fully up to date and no more apps are being installed.
