Been using Canidae for a few years now. They make a high qualify food and they always have some sort of discount/coupon, but this is a particularly good deal.
Whoops... I'm here because I read it as "Large Bag of Cannabis"

I don't think I could spend almost $4 a pound for bagged dog food. If I was worried about giving the dog a grain free diet, I'd just make her pork chops on the grill at $1.99 a pound.
Honestly, the money you save by having a healthier dog more than pays for itself. Plus the poop is like half the size of cheap dog food because more of it is digestible.

I heard good about this brand, so I ordered one time. My experience with this dog food was shocking. I thought they had dried rice in the bag but come to find out it was maggots!

Where do you get pork chops at $2/lb even the cheapest ground beef around here is $4+/lb around here
South Jersey, 'Shoprite' has bone in pork chops for $1.99/lb., last week they had whole boneless pork loin for $1.99/lb., week before 80% ground beef $1.99/lb., so I was mostly kidding about making fresh cooked pork chops for the dog every day, but at the same time, this seems excessively expensive for bagged food. I do make the dog a scrambled egg and piece of toast almost every morning, and she is obsessed with getting the dinner plates to lick after dinner every night, so a bowl of food lasts her 2 or 3 days. I get the Costco bagged food, seems fine for the little of it she eats. If I didn't give her fresh cooked food daily, I guess I'd have to be more mindful of what kind of bagged food I was feeding her.

Some of us have to buy it cuz our dog has tons of food allergies. My Pitbull can't have most meats or grains so we have to do Canidae grain free whitefish. It's actually on the cheaper side of these types of foods.

just went to Farm Fleet. They had 37.5lb bags on sale for $34.99. They let me use the $25.00 coupon along with their $7.00 coupon from manufacture. I ended up paying just over $5.00 for the bag of dog food.

I was about to mention shoprite (NE NJ). 2-3 weeks out of every month: pork chops (or pork loin) and boneless chic breast are 1.99. Another week of the month, those prices are slightly higher. Fourth week of the month, it's a crap shoot at to whether they're on sale or not.

But ground beef, for the most part, is close to double that price, unless they have a very occasional featured item sale for 2.49 for 80 lean.

I bought a 25lbs bag of Canidae Goodness Adult Chicken and Barley tonight at Petsmart. Normally it costs $49, but it was on-sale for Petsmart members for $39. They allowed me to use the $25 off coupon, even though they could not get the coupon to scan in. They manually adjusted the price. The total cost for the $50 bag of food was a only $16!

Just picked up Canidae Pure from Petco. They have in-store promotion of $10 off for Rewards member, and $25 coupon stacked on top of it. Pure is on the expensive side, but hoping it's comparable to Orijen.

Go to PetSmart. 25 lbs bag $49.99. If you have an account it's 10 dollars off then the 25 dollars off and if you have any points use them. I got three bags across my wife, daughter and my accounts for 15 bucks each. Great deal.
