Build a custom mech keyboard with hot swappable switches. you'll be happier in the long run and the skill required isn't very high

I picked up a Steelseries Apex 7 (Clicky) to replace my 10 year old Logitech G19. The G19 still works, but is not working properly on my new build. Works fine my old machine and both are Windows 10. Weird. Anyways, he Apex 7 was an open box from Amazon and I really like it. Two days into it and the Pro goes on sale. Ordered. The Pro is nice, but no more clicky because it's a different type of keyboard where you can adjust the actuation distance of the keys. Even though it's not clicky, it does feel better when typing than the G19. The G19 felt a little soft/mushy whereas the Pro feels more solid/firm for lack of a better term. I don't think anyone would really be disappointed with either the 7 or the Pro. But at this price, I'll take the Pro.

How would this compare to something like the Corsair K95? I'm in the market for a new keyboard and not up to date on what keyboards are better than others.

I have this exact keyboard and like it a lot for gaming. You can set each key to have different actuation points and set custom led colors per key. These are linear switches so in my opinion not as satisfying for typing. I love my blue switches for typing.
How do these keys compare to the Kailh Speed Silver Switches found on the EVGA Z15? I honestly don't like the silver keys as they're too quick to activate (a fly going by and cutting a fart will register a key press)

Are the actuation points set digitally via their software or you have to manually set each key?

Also, how are the blue switches for typing? Noisy or?

I just picked this up and you can set the actuation point for every key using the roller. If you install the software (which I kinda hate already, very bloated) you can set the actuation point per key. With the software you can adjust the color for every key too.

fnatic mini and roccat vulcan tkl can be routinely had on ebay for like 60-70 shipped all day if you're into TKL

then add ~10 more for full size

blues are typically very noisy, regardless of manufacturer/switch

but for me they're the most comfortable for typing

Excellent gaming keyboard, probably the best. I do not overly enjoy typing on it, tho, and do not recommend it for productivity or even general computing with occasional documents.

My pc is used exclusively for gaming.

They can be set with the software or using the oled screen on the top right of they keyboard. You can chose to select multiple keys and adjust all them in one go. You know, the typical hold ctrl and click to select multiple items.

The blue switches are noisy but this keyboard does not have blue switches, only red which is linear. I have another keyboard I use for work that has blue switches.
