So I bought it couple years ago and all i had to do is iron the collar once and now collar folds down. I think its a great jacket at this price though. Quality is amazing and it looks good.

Been with the company 6 years, not one item has increased in price. It seems like people will repeat anything they read elsewhere from other haters. We've introduced new items to the line at various and possibly higher prices, but we don't increase the price of existing items.

Nearly all of them...like, 30 years ago when nearly every other manufacturer did. Way to stay relevant. For the record, we do still make tons of stuff in America, but those factory jobs go unfilled as Americans typically just don't want to do that work, even in poorer parts of the country. Americans also typically don't want to pay the higher prices for American-made gear.

They have every right to run their company as they feel they should, but with this move they alienated some (maybe more) of their core customer base. However many core customers have been switching even before this as their prices skyrocketed and their quality didn't keep up. There are a lot of alternatives with equal or better quality and at better prices. For $65 this is probably a pretty good coat, but shopping around a bit you can likely find alternatives at this price point or better on a regular basis. Especially imported ones, likes this one.

I just bought this coat and it's of great quality and warm. I own several of the Carhartt Duck canvas coats. Although I love those coats, the Super Dux material is my favorite by far. It is warm, soft, and quiet. Highly recommend.

So for relaxed fit the small will fit like a large? I'd prefer getting a Detroit duck canvas jacket in brown but rarely see sales on those
