Yea I'm also curious about the recent sales on this. Nordstorm/macys had it for like $50ish recently as well
I'm wondering as well how it smells. But it is a pretty popular cologne and people always recommend it so it can't be bad.. but to each their own.

In the $40-60 range it's IMO one of the best fragrances money can buy currently which is ironically a double edged sword. If it keeps going on sale it's going to go down in the fragrance world as another Cool Water, Drakkar, Acqua Di Gio, Bleu de Chanel, Sauvage, etc. They became affordable and hence common and lost their uniqueness and appeal. If you pay attention to Chanel and Dior's pricing, they're now following the same price model as Bosch or Apple for instance by rarely - if ever allowing retailers to discount products. Sauvage Elixr is good but in no sane world is it a $160 juice, but you can bet it won't be worn-out anytime soon.

Don't know why employees act like the lower price is coming out of their pockets.. i got mine shipped to home for an extra $7 since my Sephoras are 30 mins away it works out perfect for me to just do same day shipping to my house
