Great price, wondering why its so cheap. Discontinued maybe? I was able to find some around me using buy online and pick up.
This didn't do as well as YSL hoped for its intended audience. This was YSL's attempt to target the generation Y fragrance market. Problem is, not many in gen Y are especially familiar with YSL. Couple that with the very high MSRP and even regular sale prices and it just didn't take off the way they estimated. Gen Y is struggling in numerous facets and few of us are able to shell out $100+ on fragrances. Not sure if the recent deep price reductions are because they intend on discontinuing it and need to unload stock or they're more conscious to their intended consumer but it's probably the former. Besides, as pleasant as the EDT is it wasn't received as groundbreaking to the fragrance community whereas the Y EDP is more favorable and is very rarely on promotion.
In the $40-60 range it's IMO one of the best fragrances money can buy currently which is ironically a double edged sword. If it keeps going on sale it's going to go down in the fragrance world as another Cool Water, Drakkar, Acqua Di Gio, Bleu de Chanel, Sauvage, etc. They became affordable and hence common and lost their uniqueness and appeal. If you pay attention to Chanel and Dior's pricing, they're now following the same price model as Bosch or Apple for instance by rarely - if ever allowing retailers to discount products. Sauvage Elixr is good but in no sane world is it a $160 juice, but you can bet it won't be worn-out anytime soon.
Picked this up at Nordstroms when it was posted for the $50, and the smell is nice and clean. I would categorize it as "Fresh". Remember this is de Toilette, so it does not linger or last as long as Parfume/Cologne. Which is a good thing if you don't want it to be in your face. For 50 and under i recommend it.
For comparisons, the YSL l'homme De parfume is worth the $80 plus asking price

Great pick up OP! Bought it in store and the clerk said it wasn't on sale, however to her shock it rang up at $39.60. The look on her face was priceless. Thanks for a great deal on a really nice frag. Repped!!

Don't know why employees act like the lower price is coming out of their pockets.. i got mine shipped to home for an extra $7 since my Sephoras are 30 mins away it works out perfect for me to just do same day shipping to my house
I ordered it for pickup and it was confirmed. They then sent me an email saying it was cancelled due to it being out of stock. I'm pissed i bought a gift card for this. I live to hunt for a good deal at sephora again!

Yea I'm also curious about the recent sales on this. Nordstorm/macys had it for like $50ish recently as well
I'm wondering as well how it smells. But it is a pretty popular cologne and people always recommend it so it can't be bad.. but to each their own.

Edit: Geez, I'm not trolling. I actually want to know. I saw some from the magazine, but don't know which one this is for.
