I know this because I tried on both before purchasing Men's Birkenstocks in 2021 (because Costco only carried Women's) and don't give a sh*t about jerks that try to impose their style judgements on me. I'm feeling myself and comfortable while doing it in my Birkenstocks.

This is false. Men's Birkenstocks are wider than women's.

Good to know. They don't have my size even if I converted, anyway. Only gets to about men's size 9 or so. I do see men's Birkenstock EVA Arizona sandals for the same price, but I'm thinking that's probably the regular price for those.
They are marketed to women and use narrower lasts for construction. If you have narrow little feet then a man could definitely wear them. Prior to the skinny fit clothing released in the past 15 years, it wasn't uncommon for very slender men to buy women's suits.
