This is good for just a small room or just beside your head on the bed stand. It's a bit expensive for just that but it's a good brand

In for one. Great price for a small unit with auto mode. I have the 211 model and it works great at cutting down the amount of dust, food orders, and smoke. Blueair is a trustworthy brand that offers discounts on filters with auto replenishment too.

I use one of these in my office and works well. The circulation fan is fairly loud for a purifier this size.

CR rated this pretty poorly for performance on low, and I do agree. Whisper silent, but very little air movement. Next setting up is dramatically louder.

I bought one recently but promptly returned it because the clanking noise it made. Search online and others experienced this same issue.

When I bought a two pack of the manual version of the 411 three years ago I paid $94 each so I'd say this is a pretty solid price for the automatic model. This isn't meant to directly compete with more expensive air purifiers, but instead provides a lower-cost option which can provide comparable functionality for many use cases (particularly if operated 24/7).

I use this as not only an air purifier but also as a white noise generator. If you are about to use it in a bedroom, be wary of its LED brightness. I used several strips of white electrical tape to cover them.

I own this and the 121 (600+ sq ft). I love them both, but I would advise anyone that can afford the premium to get the next size up from your target area.

To really get that "fresh" smell, you'll need to run this on medium or high for a while. That means it'll be loud. For me, it runs in my office while I'm not there so when I arrive in the morning I'm greeted with clean air, but if you WFH or you're considering it for a bedroom, it might be a nuisance. Instead, get the Blue Air 411(?) and run it on low. That will move just as much air but with far less noise.

Thats why I have the 121 for the master bedroom.

And yes, that LED light is bright. I have turned the machine to face away from the bed, but it's not elegant. Allegedly the company sells (or gives away) caps to cover the light, but I haven't explored that.

Purchased this when the fam got COVID last month, we used to run the humidifier a lot to ease sore throats & breathing so the air got musty & such; replacement filters are affordable & it's done a great job to filter the air. It is loud however after a few minutes it eventually becomes white noise lol Very happy with the purchase & price. Also very useful when cooking in the kitchen as it helps clear out any cooking smells without having to open a window. It is very light so the toddlers do knock it over quite often but it's stood up to the abuse lol

Just ordered. Thanks op! Yeah i tried the 121 from costco once before but mine had a nasty plastic smell that wouldnt go away even running it for 2 weeks straight so it got returned and ended up going with the blueair classic 605 instead for work and several of the filtrete smart purifiers for home use.

Looking forward to trying this one though! Blueair makes some good stuff
