I got one from my company and as someone who uses 8000 sticky notes a day and loses a handful frequently enough, o have to say I love this thing. My handwriting is pretty terrible and the app doesn't always get the OCR right, but as long as I write the title ok, I can search the picture and decipher it myself pretty easily. Definitely saving trees and keeps your notes on one spot. I think my work paid much more, worth a try if you are thinking about getting a reusable/ erasable notebook.
I have these in 2 different sizes. While I do like the concept and enjoy the products, one thing that gets me from time to time is that the ink does not dry down as quick as writing on papers when you write on these notebooks, which usually leads to smudging when I accidentally run my hand over it…Also, in order for the eraser towel to do a good job it needs to be quite damp, which can be inconvenient if you're, say, in the middle of a class or meeting without a bottle of water.

The reusable notebook is not good. You have to wait until the notes on the book to dry.
Lol. I would love to shadow you for a day, just to see how you survive, if something like this is too complicated for you.

I've been using the executive size to take work notes for about 2 years now. I scan them about every other week as it fills up. It is a minor pain to erase all the pages, but I get the benefit of scanned images of them and not using tons of paper.

For erasing on the go, I saw a tip to use a water brush pen such as these [amazon.com]. For erasing a few characters, the Frixion pens have an eraser on the end that you can rub out the ink without water.

I love this for eliminating paper notes at work. I use it as a means for taking notes while on calls and then documenting the information/activities into our database. No more scraps of paper, sticky notes, etc. Wipe it clean at the end of the day, week, or month and it's good to go again.

I've also tried the app and it works pretty well. Not my primary use anymore, but nice to have as a backup.

I'd like to share my honest review. I wanted to love the rocketbook system but it has too many fundamental flaws: a. The companion pens have a frixion eraser, which isn't supposed to be used for the rocketbook. Only a damp cloth works, which is impractical to carry around. B. With time the ink stains the page and if you press hard will leave indents. C. Because the ink dries slowly and smudges, I tend to only use one or two pages at a time, which makes having a 16 page notebooks redundant. You're supposed to erase weekly, another reason many pages are redundant. The notebook feels flimsy and light. D. The price just isn't quite low enough for what is essentially lamented pages. E. Just use the frixion pens on regular paper and save some money. Plus you get a functional eraser and don't have to carry water spray and microfiber clothes.

edit context: I was looking for something to substitute my bujo with that reduced paper waste. will probably just go digital.

One point to consider is that some people-myself included-highly prefer manually taking notes.

Did you mean laminated? I was confused at "lamented".

I wonder about the longevity of this since it, like a lot of unfortunate products, relies on mobile phone software to boast reusability. How well does the 'paper' resist letters being mechanically imprinted into the pages as it happens with regular paper?
I haeve not had any imprinted pages. Granted I don't generally write with an overly firm pressure. I do find that sometimes that happens on regular paper/sticky notes, but the rocketbook pages are much thicker and firmer and using the frixion pens they tend to glide pretty easily.

BTW, they also have the "flip" version for lefties (so you're not hitting the spiral binding all the time with your hand. I got a the green letter sized version for $25: https://www.amazon.com/Rocketbook-Flip-Microfiber-Included-Executive/dp/B087QNBV85/ref=asc_df_B087QN... [amazon.com]

From the reviews it takes between 15-20seconds for the ink to fully dry. Hopefully the smudging isn't too bad of a problem for us lefties (AKA the 5% Club).

I bought one of these awhile back and for awhile I was pleased but after awhile I realized it's all just a gimmicky way to sell the pens. You can buy the Frixion pens on their own and use them on plain paper. Microsoft Lens is a free app that does most of the smart notebook functions without the cheese.
