Wow, haven't looked at buying any Emotiva equipment in years, prices have definitely gone up. If I remember correctly I bought my two A-500 amps refurbed from them for $350 each including shipping.


Definitely a "good bang for buck" product line. Well worth looking into if you're in the market!

Been eyeing the C2+ and T2+ lately.... Luckily for my wallet the towers aren't available. C2+ for $360 seems like a great deal though.

Is there a difference between c2 and c2+. Specs look the same but one is around $50 cheaper. is c2+ just newer? If so, what is the improvement? Can't find any difference online. Seems like ppl just interchange the terms c2 and c2+. I know both are now out of stock. I was debating whether to upgrade from an infinity reference RC263 for the ribbon tweeter...

Edit: I just realized c2+ price went up from $400 in 2021 to $500 in 2022...

Thumbs up, because no one posts emotiva deals.
Looks like they are adding things a little at a time as others sell out.
Last time they did this the stock was very limited on most items.
Like qtys fewer than a 100, they are a small operation that has no distributor network.

Receiver - AVR-X3700H

Front Speakers - RF82 II floor speakers.

Center Speaker - Klipsch RP-440C Reference Premiere Center

Surround Speakers - 4 KEF KHT3005 Surround speaker

Atoms - Sonance, MAG Series 8" 2-Way In-Ceiling Speakers (Pair)

Subwoofer : 2 Monolith by Monoprice 10in THX Select Certified Subwoofer Amplifier

You dont need an amp for the subwoofers...they are powered by their internal amps

But the amp is 7 channels so you could use it for front( 2) center (1) and atmos(2) speakers that you have mentioned

I am somewhat unclear of your configuration..You have four surround speakers?

Just as an example, the B1+ bookshelf speakers were $230 1 year ago. In the summer of 2021, they went to $250. On Jan 1st, they went to $300.

I been thinking about getting the three channel amp for my svs ultra bookshelf speakers. I think it would sounds a little better with a amp for music and movies but the factory reconditioned 3 channel amp is only 50 dollars cheaper. However I think the same warranty applies. Tempting

Sold a gen2 three channel amp five years ago for $360 bucks. Still regret it ..

Still have the xpr 2 channel. 90 lb of pure monster.

Your front and center speakers are fairly efficient(don't need a lot of power to get to their potential), sub is self powered and the rest don't need a lot of power either.

Depending on layout,room environment, what you are expecting & unless you listen at very high levels that amp may not be worth the price iMO.

If you feel you need an amp, you might consider one to power just your fronts and center.
