Side story I sold my 65" OLED B6P to my nephew Evidently it had some sort of problem in the corner with the Panel . He called LG up they are going to replace the panel and only thing he has to pay for is labor which is $300 So in my mind LG is tops for the way they take care of their customers.

see how everyone was so excited about the great price, then later on realize it's a refurbished unit. Woot has done this multiple times and later claim it's a mistake and asks you to keep the TV and get a credit.
Don't get suckered.

Based on that thread link it seems like it was an honest mistake vs an intentional bait and switch. Posting in the forum, sending out emails, and proactively offering a discount since it was a refurb seem like all reasonable responses to make people aware of the issue. I suppose they could have flat out just cancelled all the orders instead, and I probably would have expected more than $100 off due to it being a refurb, but this reads more like someone messed up the item details, not that woot is out there being predatory.
Personally I wouldn't buy a TV through woot, but I've bought plenty of other stuff through them without issue. I also don't typically return stuff unless it's broken/defective, and that's where I see most people having issues with them. I see that as a risk when buying a TV since panel variations can happen and you get into a subjective defect gray area as to if it's returnable without fees that can cause a whole heap of headache to get resolved.

Oled should be consistent. That's the tech it us promising.
I don't have the executive membership I just have the regular Costco membership.
So I guess I'll take the 2% back at the end of the year
Newegg purchase here, came with a $190 gift card and a 3rd party 4-year burn-in extended warranty. For $1900 after taxes.
