I should have mentioned it in the OP, but this is available for shipping so you don't need to live near a micro center to get the deal like some of their sales.

I will never understand this website/community. You post a refurb legion 7 with a 3070 with a 2 year warranty for $1550. You get down voted to oblivion. But put a G17 with a 3070 for $1900 and everyone cheers.

too much at $1900 with only 3070 and AMD released 6000 series laptops CPUs few weeks ago and Intel i7 12th gen laptops have 14 cores now.

Sorry to hear that, hey, as I said the ASUS is great, but I mean the asus is still a desktop replacement. If you are pushing triple A titles at max fps, expect to be using a thermal pad.

I truly appreciate your responses, seriously thank you.

I did some further, I guess you could say " real world " testing and have finally brought the comparison to an end. I comfortably decided on the Legion 7. Sorry for the back and forth and thanks again. Maybe my undecisive overthinking will help somebody else make a choice as well Thumbsup
