Have this, it's a nice tech bag. It seems to be optimized for things of a flat nature - I can fit 2 laptops and a tablet no problem. The charger garage on bottom is great as well as the super spacious zippered pocket up top which can hold phones, earbuds, and other trinkets. The front zip compartment is good if you have a ton of tiny trinkets such as power banks, flash drives, and sd cards. It does this while always maintaining a slim and sleek appearance, and is comfortable-ish to wear but doesn't do well for long treks fully laden. Best to use the suitcase handle slot instead which is very well designed.

My main gripe with the bag is that it can't really hold much besides what I mentioned. Fitting fatter items such as a jacket in here, or a small mirrorless camera even, kind of sucks and I have to shove things in there as the bag does not have a lot of horizontal give. I wish it were more expandable, but it's quite rigid and doesn't adapt in any way except for zippering out a water bottle holder that does work pretty well.

Still, it's the bag I choose most when traveling, better designed than my Samsonite junk bag which somehow looks bulkier and carry less. $54 is a good price. I paid $90.
I have been using this bag about 5 years, bringing it on every trip. You completely nailed the description, the pros and the cons of this bag. Kudos.
Weirdly negative comment. Is "duh" ever worth posting? Ever? Go away lol

This exact deal was posted over a week ago, without much fanfare. I guess timing is everything:
https://slickdeals.net/f/15649249-ebags-pro-slim-laptop-backpack-53-99-tax-free-shipping?v=1&src=SiteSearch

But yeah, I've had this bag for over a week, and its great! Compartments are good enough for me, and everything is well organized

There are so many reviews with pictures of stitching coming undone. The number of compartments look cool though!

Anyone know if this can hold a Lenovo Legion 5 17-inch laptop? If so, how tight of a fit is it (ie can it handle additional padding/sleeve?)?

TIA

This is my exact feeling. Awesome bag, has a nice minimal look, can fit all of my gadgets and notepads. The down side is that it is made to fix exactly all of this and nothing more. I could never throw my jacket in it since it's designed to have a slim profile. Overall, one of my favorite bag. If you ever gotta throw in clothes into your bag, don't get this one.

Don't know that laptop, but compartment is very large and I don't think any laptop made after 2000 wouldn't fit. I've had this bag for years, was awesome when I was doing outside sales, but gets very little use now.

No issues with mine and I'm very hard on my stuff. But I bought it before eBags got bought.

Bought one in '17, definitely the best backpack I've owned. I take it everywhere, it's been shoved in under and above plane seats, tossed in the back of cars and its still in great shape. I've had 2 slimmer laptops (macbooks or macbook + thinner lenovo), a switch, kindle, and ipad in there all at once.

I also have had it a few years and agree. It's fantastic but somewhat ridgid and slimmer compartments. It can still fit a good amount of stuff, but it's not like your cheaper sport brand backpacks with one big sloppy compartment. You can pack a sweater in there, but it's got to be folded up. Great quality. Also, the pocket on the bottom has a hard case in it. If you take that out, you get a fair bit more space/flexibility if you don't need the protection. This is a good price for the quality of bag you get.

It's a bit cheaper getting it directly from ebags with 10% coupon and 15% CB.

I think that's the Pro Weekender edition, not the Pro Slim line. Their product description actually covers a wide array of their products, which makes it quite confusing.

In ABOUT ITEM though, KEY FEATURES says it fits up to 17". But 17" screen laptops come in a variety of chassis dimensions.

Anyway I bought one and I'll just try it - if it doesn't fit, then I'll just return it.

Where did you find the 10% coupon?
