Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
Some people don't live in a house.
Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

That tablet is so slow it's unusable for me. What do you use your 2 for?
I used it to activate the tablet line for the first time before I used it on MR2100 and Nok 5g21.

If I'm the primary account holder on a tmobile postpaid consumer account, can I sign up for a business account with the same SS#?
Yes, but you might find it hard to find CSR that knows how to do it. I had to threaten to leave with 4 lines before they finally do it for me.

I left TMo for Fi eventually mainly because of international travel but I still keep 2 tablet lines.

Does anyone know how to order an additional line online? I have two already, but want to order a third. I can't figure out how to get it online.
I used Twitter and Facebook chat.
With Twitter, make sure you chat with tmobile business rep, not with the regular tmobile one.
Also, make sure provide them the promotion code and the correct plan name for them to add it.
I did it for my 2nd line and was very easy

Agree. Tablet works great for web browsing and media like Netflix, etc.
It is great not having to rely on wi-fi to have an internet connection.
This is one of my best SD deals..

Try these steps:
  • log into your online account (tfb.t-mobile.com)
  • choose "Shop"
  • choose "Bring your own device (SIM only)
  • choose "Physical SIM card only" (for $15) or "Activate a SIM card you already own"
  • then select "Tablet" for the type of device you're activating; if you're buying the $15 SIM card, choose "Add a line to my plan"
  • scroll down in the plans for the last option for "Magenta Business Tablet 10GB Promo $10"

It's charging me $35 for that, and I can't even tell if it's the tax inclusive plan. Darn.

The battery hack I will do for free for 2 people that will agree to report back to this thread honestly about it so others can know about it from someone other than me.
so the first 2 people to pm about I will take in order and give it to them.
be advised you will need the splitter cable and a high power charger head to be able to tether and use wired internet as the USB port will now be occupied supplying power to the unit.
I got them both off ebay for about 15 bucks combined.
it can be most any inseego device, other devices can work but for this testing lets keep it to inseego/novatel only
I'm not looking for a free battery fix, nor am I writing this because of the offer. I just want to share my experiences. Rich sold me the M2000 a few months ago. It had an issue when it arrived and didn't want to provide access to the web interface. I reached out and Rich took care of the issue immediately. At first, when I opened the box and tried to get connected, I thought I'd be taken... Rich stood by what he sold, got me up and running, and I've had absolutely no problems (device-wise) since. I've had a few spots in the Atlanta area where I have signal issues, but its' always the same area... perhaps a dead zone in general.

Overall, Rich has done a great job on my M2000 and I don't regret the investment I made.

So your Nok 5g21, was that a pre-owned model, was it just plug and play with the tablet sim after it was activated in the tablet?
Did you have to have it activated by T-mobile customer service?

FB chat took 30 mins just to validate me, then just told me to call the business line to add a line. WTF?

Looks like the free tablet is available only on the tax exclusive plan, so you have to pay extra for the tax.

Can anyone confirm?

I switched to tax inclusive and the bill credits did not apply.
When I look at the plans on checkout for the free tablet, the option for free tablet appears only under the tax exclusive plan. Maybe it's a new change? Not sure
