Google ""SAMSUNG SERVICE PACK"" They come with battery reinstalled from Samsung Factory. All the screens that you see or buy outside are REFURBISHED, meaning, the front glass is changed, but inside LED is still Samsung Original.

Google this "" iphone + $250 million + Corning ""

The glass is what makes the difference between Samsung Service Pack screen and aftermarket 3rd party repair screen repair.

HOW DO I KNOW???? Mobile Tech for 11 years. Fixed more than 30k devices. Now I no longer do these simple repairs. I do data recovery from water damaged phones, which pay me more.
I did this screen repair for my S9 plus for $100 and was well pleased at that they fixed my screen and replaced my battery if I remember correctly. They even returned the case I sent it in.
On most newer Samsung phones (at least Note 8+) the battery is integrated with the front screen. So, in order to replace the screen, they must replace the battery.

Just received an update from Samsung. They want to charge 507 for the repair. I'd rather buy a new phone for that price.. Anyone here have similar experience with Samsung trying to charge higher than the promo price? Any success getting the repair done for the original amount?

I missed the 10 day return window and Samsung cancelled my ticket before I could ship them my device.

Customer support can't reopen my ticket, they can only start a new one for the full price $300+. They will not honor the promotional price.

Don't know what to do. Has anyone had success in this situation? I'm extremely frustrated as I spent the last two days backing up and exporting all the content on my Note 9 before factory resetting. Set up a temp phone and everything. I could still ship it with the old UPS label but I assume they'll reject it on arrival and ship it back to me? Is that worth doing or do I risk losing my phone forever or getting extorted for the full repair price?
The repair center inexplicably cancelled my ticket on the 7th day (of ticket opening) and my phone was sent out that same day. They received it today and seem to re-open the ticket with the same ticket number. Hope they don't have any issue with the original quote. You might want to give it a try sending it in with the UPS label attached to the ticket.

Finally got my Note9 back today after 2 weeks. I got the complimentary battery replacement and they also replaced my fingerprint reader. It's basically like a new phone to me now, which is great because I noticed the battery was dying on my phone. For $110 it was a great deal!

Did yours have to be put on hold for parts? They received my Note 9 almost two weeks ago, was put on hold for parts, and I haven't heard anything since.

Yeah I did get a notification for that, but only waited a couple days before they said the parts arrived. I would call Samsung support and see if there are any updates since mine also had no updates for a week until I called the support line.

Shipped mine 3/31, arrived 4/1 and they put it under inspection. Just got email saying they're shipping it out tonight.

Original Problem:
POWER - POWER - NO POWER AFTER UPGRADE

Problem found:
TOUCHPAD DAMAGE - INTERNAL BATTERY FAILURE

Solution:
REPLACED LCD - REPLACED COMPONENT

I only had a small crack on my screen so not sure why all this "failure". I guess I got battery replaced but hope they didn't f up anything else. I kept it in almost perfect condition. Even still had the plastic film on back lol.

Got my phone back yesterday. It had a cracked screen, but also had the black screen of death. They wound up fixing both. I'm so happy. Definitely a steal for $100.

Got mine back. Does anyone know if the new screen comes with the factory screen cover like when the phone was new (Note 10+)? I can't tell 100% but doesn't seem like it....

When you guys got your phone back did you notice a app called cameranylzer or installed and unremovable? My S22U screen broke and I got it fixed a ubreakifix and my battery is draining quicker and cameranlyzer is one of the things taking up batter and it never did before.

I bought an unlocked, broken s20 ultra for $250. I sent it in and they updated the repair price from $100 to $200 (LCD repair fee - $100)

It was extremely cracked (front and back), like someone had taken a hammer to it, touchscreen barely worked. Seems like maybe your motherboard needed to be replaced which is accounting for the extra cost.

I'm gonna try to call in and argue. Not 100% sure I want a used s20 ultra for $450 so I might just tell them no and return it.

Thank you for this! I sent it in anyway with the UPS label and they received it and I got a shipping notification that it's coming back today... presumably with the LCD replaced (and the battery too I hope? 🤞)

Support that wouldn't reopen my ticket said not to send it. Your message gave me the confidence to send it anyway. I hope it all works out. Who knows? The repair was suspiciously quick (1 day from the date the phone was received) but they charged me $108 for the repair, so...

Did they tell you in an email that they replaced the battery or did you check with a battery health analyzer after the phone arrived? Because my email only says the following:
