There's nothing more attractive than watching 40 year olds make the same lame comments everytime a feminine hygiene related deal is posted.

Yikes.
Buyer beware! Stay away from this company. I bought exact one at $9.99 for my wife. She said is not the same quality from amazon Innersy brand. This one is very cheap and thin material. Also shipping take a month!
Just to be clear for those interested:

"This period panty offers extra protection and it does not mean to be a replacement for pads; it just provides extra protection to prevent leakage while sleeping or lying,"

I've never heard of this company. I'm in my 3rd trimester and just found out I need disposable underwear or adult diapers for the week after giving birth. Anybody know if period underwear might be good for the tail end of the week?

Adult diapers hold way more fluids than period underwear. I would stick with the heavy duty stuff just in case.

The hospital usually provides disposable diapers/pads while you are there, after that I had to use Always maxi overnight. They good enough for the entire couple of weeks when you need the most protection and absorbency. Plus they help give you some patting in case you get stitches.

I bought these for post partum days and they worked really well. Honestly, they've saved me from a couple possible embarrassing moments even after those post partum days.

Note: I did wear them along with a liner or thin pad (just in case) and sure enough they did absorb any sudden overflow.

Edit - it was actually the Innersy brand through Amazon which look exactly the same.

I wouldn't trust something like this for that first week. Stock up on the hospital pads and disposable underwear while you're in the hospital. Just ask them for more to bring home. And the ice packs. The disposable underwear with pads are the best post partum.

I had three babies and one was a C section. You don't need adult diapers. Napkins are just fine. Where do you need to go in that first two weeks after having a baby that you would feel the need for adult diapers ? Rest, rest, rest.

The hospital provided my wife with what she needed for home when each of our three kids were born.. might be something worth checking into?

Products like these are now FSA/HSA eligible. It might not be worth skimping out on when you can essentially pay 20% (or less) of the actual cost when buying via your benefits account.
