This is an excellent price for this model, but buy this for the combination of size, weight, portability, excellent screen, and stellar battery life. Performance is solid but on par with most well equipped laptops these days. 16GB and an NVMe drive is solid. Do not get this if you want to game. It's not for you. This is for those who want the lightest and thinnest 17" laptop in the world, with all the other features that should go with it.
I got this earlier this month. I absolutely love it. I'm attorney who works remote. The 17inch screen is perfect for doing side by side documents at full zoom. Battery life easily lasts me all day even with me software limiting the full charge at 80% to extend the life of the battery. Performance is solid. Obviously not going to game and I'd get something stronger for video/photo editing but for your normal computer tasks this handles everything with ease. This computer is freakishly light too. It's only a smidge heavier than my wife's MacBook Air despite having a 17 inch screen instead of 13.
I wish these came in matte screen, the glossy screen is really hard to see at angles.

Sold out? I'm not able to add. I see that it says $500 off but I can't see the actual price. Not sure what's going on. I hate Costco website overall.

100% agree. Glossy is a pain to deal with. But this is a great price but glossy is a deal breaker for me.

I've been contemplating about getting this. I'm looking for a laptop for streaming, market analysis, occasionally play WoW.

What do you recommend?

There is a company out there (forget their name) that makes custom matte screen film to put over a glossy screen. I have not used them but they have been around forever and people like them and their products.

Or.. you can get something thin/light like this with awesome battery and use Xcloud / Stadia to game via streaming.

The beauty of a machine like this is now you can pair it with Nvidia's GeForce Now cloud gaming platform and game anywhere without needing to worry about a laptop with a beefy GPU. These LGs are great machines and can do it all based on what you're outlining.

WoW would be the limit. The monitor is really nice on this and it's an ultra-light - about the same as my MacBook Air. It has thunderbolt 3 which works awesome.

These come and go at this price quite a lot over the last 6 months. The new lg gram 17" was just announced as of last week, so I assume prices to drop further or for them to be discontinued soon enough. https://www.windowscentral.com/lg...0-graphics

New version coming out has matte screen, 12th gen cpu's and finally a dedicated gpu. Won't be $400-$500 off till Black Friday most likely. Supposedly a decent improvement over this deal but you'll pay for it. I'll wait it out. Really nice screen, but yes the glossy screen is pretty bad, especially when you can see all of Costco behind you with the display models.

There are two versions – LG Gram 16 and 17 (referring to the screen size in inches). Both feature 16:10 displays (2,560 x 1,600 px), IPS LCDs with 99% coverage of DCI-P3 and an anti-glare coating.
