Product InformationAuthor's Notes- Yes, I know this is very expensive for a pepper mill, which is why I stated "Very Niche" in the thread title. I'd be surprised if there aren't a bunch of thumbs down, but figured I'd post it because it may help someone who has an eye on this pepper mill or want a pepper mill with a high output
- I have spent a few hundred dollars on pepper mills, including electric and manual mills by brands like Peugeot, Fletchers, OXO, and Trudeau. I haven't been happy enough with any of them, mostly because I like pepper and it takes too many turns to get the amount I want
- This product retails for $199, and other than their Kickstarter and Indiegogo price of $149, has only been on sale on time during Black Friday 2021
- Weber recently released a similar pepper mill, the Moulin Pepper Grinder [weberworkshops.com], for $320, which is slightly over twice the price
Enjoy!

Very niche but I will pass.
I haven't used a Unicorn mill because there have been some reports of quality control issues for Unicorn pepper mills, with New York Times' Wirecutter [nytimes.com] stating, "Though the Unicorn Magnum Plus has gotten a lot of positive press from many trusted editorial sources, we found metal shavings in our ground pepper after grinding. These shards were probably left over from the manufacturing process, but regardless, we didn't love the Magnum Plus's performance."
Unicorn is sold out of their pepper mill until mid-2022.
On Reddit, a person switched from the Unicorn to the Mannkitchen product, stating [reddit.com], "My Unicorn is stashed in the box the pepper cannon came in these days :-). I use the cannon every day since getting it, and have had zero problems. It produces wonderful quantities of pepper."
I hope this helps a bit,
