If I purchased this deal porting in my current number, can I not activate it as a way of canceling?

Reading through the thread, I don't want to go through the headache of trying to port out from Boost in the future.

Yes you can go in store to get your account number but you can also call Boost customer care and get your account number there as well.

I need a cheap sim that works on AT&T or Verizon. Taking a trip into the mountains soon and TMO is a no go. Just googled this and they piggyback off of TMO.

This particular deal gets you an ATT-based SIM card, not TMo.

The one I got starts with 8901410.

Does Boost support wifi calling? I am using Mint now and need wifi calling to make calls due to poor T-Mobile coverage in my home.

How long does this take to arrive? I ordered April 6 and am still waiting. I noticed the SIM was activated immediately and is set to renew May 7--only 3 weeks use.

I'm willing to try. I need a cheap line for the kid. But how hard is it to cancel? I'm not getting a good vibe here. No intentions of porting out, just canceling service if I don't like it.
